Digital Dave is David's AI. It supports modern field documentation, planning, and visibility: iPads in the field, progress photos, completed work, and open items, turned into a clearer record for project leaders and customers.
Digital Dave does not replace craft. An iPad cannot diagnose a complex leak or fabricate a flashing detail. It puts better information in the hands of experienced people so David and the field team can stay close to the work.
Lineage and craft
A craft passed forward. A separate company.
David DeStefano is the grandson of Gregory DeStefano, a respected figure in New York contracting for 50 years. Mr. DeStefano began as a sheet-metal mechanic and worked through the industry's shift from traditional coal-tar-pitch roofing to the modified roofing and waterproofing systems used today.
GD Osman is an entirely separate company. It is not a continuation of Mr. DeStefano's former business. The connection is knowledge, mentorship, and craft. David carries forward the same lessons: understand the entire building assembly, pay close attention to the details, respect the people performing the work, and stand behind the commitments made to the customer.
Decisions at GD Osman are made locally by David, not from a distant corporate office. Clients can call the person who owns the relationship, from the first site review through project completion.
